Is something happening with Amethyst? 
I reinstalled a few days ago and since then my timeline is slow, I never see my last post right away (takes a minute, makes me think it didn't get through at all.) And the amount of relays, I didn't set that up👀 #asknostr #amethyst
there is a new relay system, to speed up the timeline add some relays to the "Trusted Relays" section
I hope it will after some bugs are fixed👍

Not really, it uses tor by default.
everybody on "tor" still pinged to a physical hardware, anybody who can analyse access logs can still get your real IP. people need to stop pretending they're are behind some sophisticated tech being anonymous, they are not!
This isn't true.
Deanonymizing Tor users is still somewhat difficult and reading access logs will only show you the last exit node's IP, not the actual client who is using Tor.
You'd have to run code on the client machine (like using JavaScript) for them to establish an outbound connection without using Tor, preferably to a system under your control.
Sometimes when I upload with primal it'll take 5 minutes before I can see my own note.
I haven't tried the new amethyst yet, I had a feeling it was going to be really buggy and there'd be another update soon with bug fixes. So I'm kinda just waiting for that.
Yup, orevious version was better. I tried Primal when they had some serious problems like two months ago and timeline didn't load at all, it was unusable, so I left shortly after.

Hmm I had errors in the beginning and sluggishness. I temporarily deleted some npubs and readded them one by one (well most of them, still not back to all). Now it's smooth af. Maybe there is still some issue with one of the relaylists of the npubs you are following. Hm
That's the new normal. Especially if you are following a lot of people. :)
Is like 500 a lot? 👀 I've been thinking about cleansing it anyway, lots of dead accounts. But I never found if I'm followed back, is there such sign for it? I could use it when unfollowing active accounts as well, sometimes I explain myself or to see if there's any bond at all.
Not really. The phone can handle it just fine. But we will build additional tools to help you define the follow list and separate inactive accounts from connecting all the t time

This new option makes better connectivity sharing posts via relays of follows but more process taken more data usage. Seems inefficient. relays need to take care this function by seeing follows relay
Are you seeing more data usage? Because it is the same data, just coming from different relays instead of a few big ones. It should not be much more.
After scrolling 30minutes nearly 1gb finished even without seeing videos sad 😔 nostr should need to be better . Client can't improve efficiency
2 items: All your data is downloaded for each different inbox and outbox relay you have. So, I would reduce your 8 relays or so to the 3 that you like the most.
Your Search has a lot of relays that don't offer Search (NIP-50) you can just press that Default button to reload the ones that work.
Make sure to also Hit the Default button for the Indexer so the app knows where to get unknown users from. Otherwise, the app send that to literally every relay you have connected.
I will do more checks.
Keep in mind that this download happens everytime the app is killed. So if you are used to swipe up, every time you bring the app back, it downloads all your data again. But once loaded the cost should be minimal

I simply added my WoT relays to the Proxy Relays section and let them handle the connections / load.

I'm sure you're able to set up a relay, but if you need some help then just ask.
Use 2-3 proxy relays and that should solve most of the issue.
You can ininstall and go back to version 0.94.3
I haven't upgraded to 1.0 because it sounds like a nightmare.
