I think we're on to spring here. It's going to be in the high 70s today. I'm hoping to get a bunch of yardwork done, cleaning out the flower beds, raking leftover leaves, and cutting down the annoying grass thing that I hate. Good morning 🌄

Those tall ornamental grasses that people have for landscaping decorations. I have one in my front yard that is massive. It's just a pain in the ass to cut down every spring or fall. The cutting down isn't so bad, but dealing with the grass is the annoying part. Sometimes I burn it. Sometimes I cut it up and bag it and it t it out with the trash. Sometimes I put it in the back of a family member's truck and haul it to my grandmother's and toss it down over her bank into the woods. The last one is the easiest.
Hoping to avoid that here. Everything is budding out here.
I'm glad my lilacs haven't started budding yet. Most years, they lose to the frost.
Back in the snow……,we will get some more in June. Like we always do.

I’m not sure what is worst, having lots of it when expected, or just a bit when it’s not.
I also hate that I’m back in a country where the weather is the main topic of conversation.
