You just received $100,000 that you want to put into bitcoin.

You currently have 0 bitcoin. You have an income under $40,000. You are 30 years old and don’t own anything.

What’s your strategy to get the most BTC for your $$$?

Pay my rent from the 100k for a whole year buy bitcoin with the rest and go to work and every week pay check is for bittys

Thanks, are you waiting for any particular price?

For? Not really. I buy spend replace and i buy almost everyday.

Just asking. Don’t have a lot of Bitcoiners to talk to IRL. Once I realized what it was… I haven’t had a spare dollar since.

me either. they think im crazy. 2 good cycles we be good. The first never counts because you didn't understand what btc was. But 2 good stacking hard cycles is life changing

Bitcoin teaches you not to be greedy

In the price discovery phase of the bull market? You buy 1 BTC and put it away. Then you put whatever is left of your wage after covering your monthly expenses on top of that every month and put that away too. And if you have an unexpected large expense in a few months you settle that with the gained purchase power of "some" of your sats and carry on. You do this for two cycles and you'll have to decide how much money you'll need to live comfortably moving forward and make decisions from there. If you enjoy living a simple (cheap) life you'll be set.

Position yourself to never HAVE to sell your sats.

Don't be forced to part with your satoshis.

NEVER. I won’t even if it costs me significant inconvenience.

I can’t stand having a significant cash balance. I think this is probably what I might do.

First I make a budget ignoring the 100k and assess actual needs for capital outlays like do I need new clothes to try to get that better job? Is my car about to die? Assuming nothing and money left over at the end of each week, it's all going into fuckin' bitcoin (speaking for myself here not financial advice). Bottom line is if you have goals that have been held back by lack of liquidity, fix that first, then save your damn money.

DCA it in or just send it like the psychos we have become?

You have to fuckin' send it. DCA is fine but reality is now is always best in the long run, but who knows maybe its going to zero and my wife is gonna leave me for Schiff

😂 then I guess we will meet at the same homeless shelter one day. Looking forward to it.

🤷‍🫂

I would also add an emergency fund if you don’t have one already, so you don’t feel the need to pull out from your BTC investments when things get tight. The DCA approach seems right, but if the price goes down > 10% I would say buy more/twice the amount you would normally.

Think directionally.

BTC will be $250K++++++++ in 2025 & over $1mm by 2030.

Buy a whole coin. Move it to cold storage. Forget about it for 5 years.

Smile every day you go to work knowing you have a 5 year plan that will dwarf everyone you know on scales that will be hard to comprehend.

Oh & DCA what you can on the $40K you earn. Keep your expenses very low.

Not sure I agree with the timing, but I agree with the sentiment. So this price right now is not deterring you from putting it all in now and getting on with living?

FUCK NO. NOT FOR ONE FUCKING MINUTE.

🫡 SIR! UNDERSTOOD, SIR!

This ⬆️

Dca only after lump sum. That 1 btc opportunity cost will run away fast and will never ever be able to obtain a whole coin

There are only 3 rules to Bitcoin 🫡

🫡 we will witness one of the saltiest times in financial history

Just smash buy, keep eating ramen with an egg in it

Clear and concise. Feels like I’m watching you line up at the first tee, telling me this, then smashing a 350 yard drive.

Yes, that, while skydiving

lol bro we are the most interesting people right now. I’m thankful

Dump 100% into Strike and buy Bitcoin immediately. Or half now and half in a month.

I think something close to this feels better.

Lump sum buy. ...like today. Multisig with unchained and forget about it. When it drops stack more sats.

Id lump sum half and think I can catch pull backs/bears with other half

But get skin in the game ASAP.

I’m having an issue zapping you for some reason.

What price in the next few months would make you pile in the rest?

My zaps are fucked. Send to Dev of your choice.

I'd smash buy. then dca with your paycheck.

The safe degen play:

You have to secure a full corn. (corn is 96 rn) Take the 4k left over and buy 10 shares of MSTR (currently at $370) save that $300 for a YOLO MSTR call

Option for 0.30 day before expiration when a big catalyst is imminent like earnings call

Now that’s a plan.

Open an account with an exchange with good liquidity and low fees. Right now in the US, I'd suggest Kraken. Outside of the US I'd go with Binance.

Easy play

Wire all the funds to the exchange and once available buy between 50-80%.

Then take the remainder, divide by 14, and buy an equal amount over each day of the next 2 weeks.

Riskier play, but offers a potential for an outsized return.

Wire half the funds to the bitcoin exchange, buying as above

Wire the other half to a brokerage and buy MSTR now with a plan to sell out of that position in about 6-12 months, rotating into bitcoin as a DCA.

Either way, basically deploy it all now or soon. Sounds like you think the bull runs for at least 6 months or so.

Why kraken specifically? Is it a non-kyc play?

kraken is kyc.

but their maker/taker fees are most reasonable for 100k vs coinbase, gemini, river and cashapp

Realistically, if you got $100,000 what I would say is build an emergency savings fund first of 3 months to a years worth of expenses, pay off all high interest debts, then from there invest maybe $20,000 into the stock market through IRAs, and Brokerages then put $30,000 into ideally direct KYC free Bitcoin Exposure by Self-Custody but I would buy a dedicated device before doing so.

It's not the hype game everyone else is preaching but it's the sane level headed move that will probably benefit you more in the long run, financial security is more important than speculative gains.

Just saw this.

A lot of people on here would disagree, but I think in reality many people would do just this. They need some stability to ride out the volatility of BTC. Putting 30k into BTC isn’t nothing. I would expect it to be very rewarding 20 years out.

Personally, I have seen a struggle to convert amounts of $5000+ into non-kyc. If a person had to get 30k into non-kyc, how do you think they would go about it?

My best recommendation would probably be anything on here: https://kycnot.me/?t=exchange&q=&btc=on&cash=on

Most people recommend BISQ, though I'm not sure if you can buy that much all at once.

So maybe have a little KYC stack on the side for liquidity, & main stack be KYC-free.

Realistically might have to do it overtime possibly.

Go to bitcoin meetups and find some OG bitcoiners who are retired on bitcoin and who will sell you a little non-KYC coin once in a while.😃

That would be the dream

Bitcoin es un medio no un fin
