I have Lutheran heritage, and while not being religious myself, I always appreciated the artistry and pageantry involved in Catholic worship.

If you've got to practice religion, (I say) it should involve complex rituals and worship objects. Buddhism is similar in this regard.

Beauty, Truth, and Goodness.

Truth, good, and beauty can only refer to God, since they participate in Him, Truth, Good and Beauty.

It’s a necessary prerequisite.

I can appreciate a lot of the architecture, for sure! So much reflects back to when more folks lived on a hard money/gold standard. 😊
