I did a deep dive on XRP a few months ago. Pretty fascinating really. It is the antithesis of bitcoin in many ways.

The conclusion I reached is that the token itself has two functions.

1. A proof of concept for the CBDC tech Ripple is trying to sell to banks.

2. Fund raising for Ripple to subsidize their lobbying efforts to sell their CBDC tech.

The tech works, but it's an authoritarian nightmare disguised as a decentralized cryptocurrency.

Or to separate Normies from their freedom.

I also dont understand why they value so much on XRP for just act as stablecoins.

Tryna tell a good friend of mine this man. He got in at 30 cents he’s up a sizable about I told him sell that bullshit and buy Bitcoin. He strongly disagrees with me and said he’s holding XRP until it hits $20

Most crypto degens know their “coins” are nothing more than lottery tickets. There is no innovation. It’s a form of gambling. That’s why fartcoin is popular. It doesn’t pretend to be anything other than a nihilistic reaction to late state fiat economics.

Ripple (XRP) is far more sinister, as it pretends to be something more, thus muddying the waters for those trying to figure out what’s really going on.
