Cash App gets a bad rap among the more hardcore bitcoiners, probably due to KYC requirements, but I think it's a really convenient and reasonable service. I was able to buy bitcoin in under a minute using the app. I didn't even need to wait for confirmations. And the coin was on its way to my self-custodial wallet literally a minute after I bought. Also, their rate was good, and didn't include some jacked up premium.

Be that as it may, it’s pretty much all I use.
Same!
Not going back to Coinbase and swan is a non-starter after being grandfathered in.
I also like that sending sats to self-custody can only take a few hours using the “free 24-hour” option.
Free on-chain withdrawal is great. I can’t use their Lightning feature but I can buy sats and deposit to my node to open a channel.
Cash App is super underrated. I’ve gotten a bunch of people into using Bitcoin simply because I was able to show them how easy it was with their Cash App. I just tell them how to get their address or Lightning invoice and then send them some. The rest of the process is self evident
Cash ap w bitkey is my goto. I'm homeless and don't have a place to secure a seed phrase. Additionally wo a permanent address local banks ans credit unions wont accept me.
It sucks that institutional discrimination against those without a permanent address still exists in banking. Like life isn't already hard enough. It's great that you're pushing through and making it work despite the obstacles.
