Voluntary trade with others doesn't break sovereignty, in my mind. It's more about making your own choices without being coerced, not producing everything yourself.

Sovereign: choosing to spend my sats on a local farmer's products

Not soverign: being forced at gunpoint to send my sats to a government for servies I don't want.
