Why don't you use subsonic on your server for music streaming?
I don't know what subsonic is but I'll definitely check it out! Spotify is a corporation so independent artists should not expect to ever make a lot of money from their music and talents. Hollywood will only promote and give big payouts to Hollywood trash.
Here is my idea. We need a music streaming app that is decentralized where artists can upload their music.
How will they make money? Well the app can have a Bitcoin wallet and you upload for example 100 Satoshi.
That 100 Satoshi will allow you to play 100 songs. So everytime you listen to the song. The app and artist split the 1 Satoshi. This will allow both the artist and app to make money.
My idea of this app is not for freeloaders. It's for people who want to support artists.
I refuse to ever buy a subscription for Spotify because they have censored many artists but I would support a decentralized type Spotify app.

The music industry—like almost every other industry—is just a rigged system built on false dreams, all thanks to the fiat scam. Fiat has robbed billions from independent artists over the years. But that grip is starting to crumble. Many of us are working to tear down this corrupt fiat financial system and replace it with a Bitcoin standard.
Once that happens, Hollywood and the music industry won’t be able to borrow fake money to artificially promote talentless garbage. Independent artists will finally rise. They’ll make real money—directly from fans, not through middlemen like record labels or platforms like Spotify.

Right?! Completely unbelievable. This is one of their “new features” to help independent artists have a better chance of being “discovered.” For those that don’t know, artists can no longer pay for external advertising to bloggers and playlisters because if you do and then get put on a playlist that Spotify deem “fake” then Spotify has the right to deplatform you for fake streams. The only way to get our music “legitimately” heard is by using their marketing tools which clearly only further exploit us. It’s the first and last time I’ll give $100. 🤯
