I still have trouble believing that bitcoin’s start was as ethical as it appears and its adoption grassroots, seems ridiculously fast to be where we are but I guess reality is a wild fractal fever dream anyway

Ethics aside, from my perspective it's taken much longer than I initially expected.

First time I read about Bitcoin I had no idea what problem it solved. Age taught me that, I expect that’s why most people ignore it, don’t realize there is a problem.

Maybe now is a good time to read, or listen ( free online) to #HijackingBitcoin.

I’m talking about the ethics of the start, not any changes that came after. Block size wars and lightning look like typical drama filled tech development to me and the market decided. Fundamentally these are details, I don’t think the original intent of bitcoin has been lost.
