Now users can enable in the configuration view to include the latest Bitcoin block ID and height as metadata of all their events
β’ Temporally disabled QR reader
We got a report that one of Nostros' libraries had a dependency on proprietary software. After some investigation it appears to be related with the QR reader so I'm disabling it until we find an open source alternative.

Pretty cool gimmick
But why, though?
I am open to it, it just doesn't seem to do much. (It blocks posts with created_at date in the future)
Does Nostros work well on Mobiles?
I thought about this and if you use this to timestamp shouldnβt the block mined 6 blocks ago be the one used?
What happens if there is a chain split and youβre using the shorter chain?
Maybe smaller likelihood but if itβs good enough to be a precaution for recently confirmed transactions it may be good enough for any sort of integrity being sought here.
