Yes please. My MyNode’s Lightning not working … frustrated… but node still continues block by block
My opinion after running a routing node on sub optimal hardware from home is a cloud based solution, but that has ongoing costs that you likely will not recoup from routing. If it's just for personal use with private channels to a few trusted and reliable peers it's fine for keeping the hardware at home.
I have an old desktop I'm thinking of converting to a start9 server and running a personal LN node. I don't have a clue how to do it, but I do think start9 looks better and more open than Umbrel, which feels like a bit of a walled garden.

Wow $700 for the 4 tb option is an incredible deal imo.
Yeah I mean once you price it out I’d rather support them in their solution.
I got this and a 2TB nvme ssd for about $300. Downloading and installing the OS was straightforward. Their step by step guide walks you right through the process.

Being that it’s renewed did you do anything with the processor chip?

Runnin i7 Mac mini with upgraded HDD and working pretty good.
