2024 is not a bad year so far.

I got laid off just to find a job that pays 60% better.

I decided to eat beef steaks everyday because eating real food isn’t actually that expensive than to eat junk.

We are expecting a third baby.

Bitcoin is near $100.000 mark nad poised to change history for ever.

What could possibly go wrong?

For the record and the universe: that’s just a rhetoric question.

Where do you buy your steak?

We have online shop that delivers food for a reasonable price - rohlik.cz

They have a wide variety of meats and I try to eat local sources of grass fed meat and sometimes I get mostly Irish, Argentinian or US beef (like todays).

If I have time I stop by a butcher shop in Prague (Terry’s steak) which is also good source for a mostly reasonable price. They focus mostly on steaks.

I wish to find a small find near me but closest one are like 30-40 km in a bad direction so it doesn’t really fit my needs.

But I just got a contanct on some guy who have dozens of cows just 15 minutes away so maybe I’ll get something truly local. And since I know the place, I know these cows are REAL grass fed free range meat. But I don’t know of they have their own processing yet.

Oh, you’re in Prague!

How much is a 16oz ribeye there?

Depends (16oz ~ 450g)

Czech regular: $9

Czech grass fed: $15

Australian or US: ~$18-20

And they go up to Wagyu 8+ 😂

Congratulations on the baby. 🥳🎉

Wow, 60% better pay 🍻

Thank you so much.

I find 75/25 ground beef to be better and more consistent than every cut of steak minus: ribeye, NY, tenderloin and tbone. And at an average price of 70% less than those cuts it is my daily food. Cost effective, delicious, healthy. A solid carnivore hack I’ve learned.

Glad to hear you’re doing so well out there🤝

I agree. I have a little bit different approach - I buy cheaper cuts like flank (not prepared for steaks), neck or simmilar and I slow cook it until it falls apart. Strong meat, good gelatine like stuff for bones and strong broth comes out of it. 1kg (2.2lbs) is around $10.

Anyway, thanks for a tip.

Nice, I like it. I need to get a Dutch oven and start slow cooking.

Actually I just use older cast iron pot. On the low heat I just get occasional bubble here and there so it’s around 95 Celsius I guess and after like 5-6 hours I am done.

Fair play to you sir
