This is cherry picking, at best. I agree that modern Palestine is a 20th century invention - its Israel's invention. Historically, Palestine was a very diverse place, and bring a "Palestinian" did not mean you were a Muslim or had any particular ideology. A high percentage of Palestinians were Jews and Christians.

But now look... Basically all Muslims. That's not necessarily bad, but why? Its because Israel drove off anyone they could. Only the poorest people remained because they had no means to flee. The same demographic shift has occurred in all nearby states. Israel's aggression towards them has made life there unsafe or undesirable, and the minority populations that could use cultural ties to other countries to flee, have fled. Basically, Israel is causing the middle east to homogenize and islamize.

Israel could have done things differently. This really highlights the differences between Christianity and Judaism, at least in their ideals. Instead of taking and hurting, Israelis could have shared and helped. I'm sure some tried, but the trend was theft and settlements (and kibbutzim are/were literally communist enclaves with state support) and murder of people who resisted. It doesn't matter in what way they are different from you. It doesn't matter if you can point to some historical injustice. Israel committed injustices - actual human rights violations. There's no tit-for-tat - that's unacceptable. All arguments are invalid when you do these things.

So... If Palestine and it's supporters are the monsters you paint them as, then you should at least realize that Israel created that monster. I'm not saying it is a monster - just see that its Israel's creation.

Bullshit, this entire piece is bullshit.

Congrats on wasting your time.

May I ask roughly how old you are? Nothing exact - that's a data point worth guarding. My reason for asking is this : when I was younger, like college age, I was totally on Israel's side. It took a very long time to change my mind. I had to learn to make my own opinions, instead of emulating older people. Almost everyone in my family is what i would call a Zionist, even if they don't think of it that way. I had to learn not to play for team this-or-that. That way, I could assess the moral dimension without bias. It took time, is what I'm saying.

Play your retarded mental ping pong inside your head all you want man.

I'm basing my PoV on *first hand sources* not parsing through media bullshit like you.

I'm out of my 20s if that helps your mental model.

Typical retarded Israel fan type of reply here

The way you speak shows me you're immature and emotionally fragile. I didn't call you or your words any names. I made a clear and rational argument. If you're not here for that, then what are you doing in a forum where anyone can speak?

I try to be unbiased. I speak up when people pick on other people. I can't count the number of times I've taken a/the Jews' side in an online argument, simply because I don't like bigotry or bullying. I've even made a study of Jewish mysticism, and I have a favorite rabbi that I listen to. But... Israel has done wrong. And I think Israel orchestrated the 9/11 attacks. I enlisted because of that. Live and learn.

There is evil in the world. Any rabbi will tell you that. Its you.

The city nearest me likes to take their homeless (especially the crazy ones) and put them on a bus and drop them off in other towns like the one I live in. They are getting rid of their unwanted persons. As I understand it the Muslim world does this with Palestine in large part to cause problems with Israel. So yes I’m sure the state of Israel has committed some humanitarian crimes but that was the plan of their neighbors who use their own people as meat shields to hide behind. There is going to continue to be those problems as long as both sides want there to be. Doesn’t justify Israel, but leaves no state to support. Just pity for the people caught in the middle.
