I tried a zap campaign for new followers and then realized I wasn't getting new follower notifications in Iris anymore! 🤣
Iris didn’t give me new follower notification
It used to. They took it out because there was an issue with relays dropping your followers and then you get them back later and it triggers a bunch of new follower notifications from people who were already following you. Plus you only get new follower notifications if one of the relays you're reading from sees it. If they follow you on another relay you won't know.
Check out your profile on nostr.band and see how many followers you have. It's probably more than whatever client you're using says you have.
