Chickens take care of themselves for the most part.

But of course, you are a chicken master are you not? I think I followed you for your chicks

Well, I’d save the master part.

I'm caught debating between getting chickens and quail at the moment

Ooo quails, my power animal.

I have this plan (in my brain) to make an a frame house for my quails. Possibly painted midsommar style.

The Midsommar movie had put the fear of god deep inside of me.

It's the first and only horror film I've ever seen and it did something to me I can't quite put my finger on. I spent the following week convinienced I was going to live and die unloved and alone 🥲

I would pay for a well designed midsommar 3d printable coop.

That can be connected and expanded like Lego.

Hmm, not for burning then

Do you plan on eating them?

Yes, that's partly why I'm considering quail, they look easier to process (small enough to hold in one hand while the other holds kitchen shears)

Sounds messy!

Do you eat your chickens or are they egg only?

I haven’t been butchering my chickens. No need (yet). I’ve also found this (false?) belief that the food taste less good when I butcher it myself. I don’t know, I feel conflicted about it.
