I have to admit I procrastinate alot, there are many books and hobbies I haven't started because I say I'll start it later (like programming). Does anyone have any tips to avoid procrastinating and any easily understandable ways to get into writing programs. #asknostr

Write a list of people 3 things to do per day. Do those three things. Don't worry about much else.

That's definitely a good start and a way to hold myself accountable!

Lists are good. Start with an easy task to get you going. You can even break tasks down into chunks, so you don't put yourself off from starting a big task.

What if you procrastinate by breaking down every single task you can think of...

Boom, endless list of infinitesimal task which overwhelmes you 😅

Thats how it mentally feels now

I was thinking of tasks you may be avoiding due to seeming too big or too time consuming.

But yeah. Maybe avoid breaking things down so you are overwhelmed with thousands of small tasks on your list. 😄

It's about staying consistent tbh I'll read here and there or study something for 1 day I need to actually apply myself so having a list of tasks per day sounds like a good start

Yeah I'm going to have to start daily lists it seems like the way to go whether it's just the task itself or 1hr of reading or 1hr of studying

Thank you!

Thanks!

Find something awful to necessarily do and procrastinate through the thing you wanted to learn in the first place.
