I'm having a massive motivation crash. Felling lost this week. Don't know where to start.

I have this pile of scrap leather I intended to turn into card holders and Q cases today. But after getting them all our... I just didn't knew where to start even tho it's simple. Start cutting.

So I've put them all back in the box before getting some out again just to put them back in. I feel overwhelmed and I don't know why.

I need vacations but I can't afford it. The problem is that this need for vacation makes me unproductive and dosen't help me to afford those vacations.

Do you feel lost sometimes too?

I feel ya. Short answer is yes.

Id start with getting some exercise. Sounds silly but it works for me. Usually the more I dont want to, the better I feel after.

Not silly at all. Makes a lot of sense, and , yeah, I think I need that. Haven't been really active as my fiat job is driving/sitting.

Take a step back and do something you enjoy for a little while. Burn out is real and you'll put less love into your creations and it'll be a vicious cycle. Read a book, watch a show, go outside and take a walk. Don't force it 🫂🫂

So true. Excellent advice. As an artist I’ve & others have found benefit in having a hobby art we never share with anyone. This might work for you as well.

Yep all the time. The more you fight it the worse it gets. Could you look at cheaper alternatives for the vacation? Put things down and come back with fresh eyes

Happens all the time. It's usually outside stuff causing it and just saps the motivation to craft. I just step away and give myself a break. Then a creative spark will light and I'm back to getting shit done.

Excercise helps me. Reading inspiring literature. Work hard and take a few hours off.
