I looked into this a while ago and didn’t find any research that indicates coffee is bad for you. Perhaps secondary effects - not sleeping. That was a wile ago though, maybe someone published something new. A video would be cool! Just get multiple perspectives and do the research - last thing you want is anti-coffee “expert” steering the arguments one way without any hard proof.

Nah not really. Overall less mood swings and don’t need coffee to wake up. But really thinking if it’s worth it

I live in Costa Rica. I ain’t giving it up but if it was shot where I lived, I’d try to find something good. There’s great teas around for a smoke but you need a good merchant with 300-500 varieties to find the stuff that suits you. For me, I’ll stick with coffee cause it’s damned good here!

Currently weening off, sometimes it does wonders and then other days causes anxiety. At the end of the day it’s a plant and it’s trying in to poison you.

I have always wondered what the truth is - probably a moderation type of thing.

I've had "expert" opinions in favor and not in favor of coffee. I regard both of their opinions. Nothing points directly to I'll effects from coffee, although adrenals and nervous system are activated. If one drinks coffee on an empty stomach it could spike blood sugar in some.

I think the only knock on coffee is that its addictive. Who wants to be addicted to anything?

My personal opinion only... Decaf is not very healthy, based on method of the decaffenation process.

I need to stop asap, i can feel it

I quit a while back. Much better without it. If you need it, that is a unnecessary weakness. Most regular users I know are chronically sleep deprived and would crumble without caffeine.

Have you noticed any benefits from quitting coffee? I'm thinking about reducing or maybe quitting ☕ myself.
