Also, valued at 4 trillion. Nvidia is valued at 4 trillion but Nvidia actually does something/solves an issue. Blockchains, for all they are worth, hasn't done anything. It's only taken traditional financial systems and made them digital.
Think about it this way, of the entire market ceased to exist tomorrow, life would just continue like normal, using fiat systems. But if Nvidia were to disappear overnight, there would actually be quantified effects to human development.
I've always felt like cryptos don't really fully solve things, other than just banking the unbanked, but any digital bank can do that too
Bitcoin still is in the adoption phase, if internet went out in 1998 barely anyone would have noticed, except some hardcore developer, who would have cried for their life for it to be back.
Same thing for Bitcoin, it if were to be "banned" or magically disappear, a bunch of cypherpunk (millions actually) would be absolutely terrified.
Bitcoin will change the world a lot more than Nvidia ever will, give it a few more years.
