“All Christians must beware of the lure of possessions and the temptation to protect one’s physical existence at the expense of one’s eternal destiny.”

{Blomberg, Neither Poverty Nor Riches, 127-128}

During bull markets, I am more:

1. Prone to forget that I am a pilgrim on my way home

2. Tempted to secure a materially better, more comfortable life

Motivation matters.

When I forget who I am in Christ, good desires become twisted into idolatrous ones. As NGU, I am tempted to forget that I am utterly dependent on God and am called to steward his resources for his mission and glory.

I have a low time preference, and I suspect many of you do, too. But why are we stacking? Motivation matters.

Praying that the Lord would guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus in 2025.

Amen brother, do you know your motivation for stacking?

Yes. I’m a steward. But I need to remind myself often.

I remind myself of this daily..

motivation is it allows me to spend more time with my family, have more babies and make their quality of life better.

I hope you continue on this path. 🙏🫂

May God comfort our hearts while pouring out his infinite mercy on us. Because we are not deserving, but in his abundant love, he contemplates us and teaches us to multiply what we receive. So says the parable of the sower.
