what is the best way to buy bitcoin from hodl hodl? doesn't it defeat the whole purpose if i were to use revolut since the online bank thing requires KYC? Will my bank know if i bought the crypto?

You're not buying it from hodl hodl. You're buying it from a stranger, with reviews. You send money straight to their bank account. Hodl hodl hold bitcoin in escrow until confirmed. Your bank can see you sent money to the personal account of Joe bloggs, but won't know why. Buying 2nd hand furniture, art or btc, who knows.
