It would be bad if one client became an everything app. My hope is that many compete for that role.

What’s your argument for it? My browser is an essential everything app already?

Where would the internet be, if you needed to install a different browser for every website?

Nostr is the everything protocol, so why not build everything apps with it?

Agreed, specialised micro-apps are the way forward. They can be good at 1 thing and numble enough to adapt and change quickly

Of course. But as we know, division of labor and specialization is key for success. So I see it unlikely to have multiple successful "everything apps" that do all by themselves. I see it far more likely to have multiple providers for specialized tasks and then have multiple "everything apps" that simply bundle those services in a single app.

Yea. I think of it like a Webbrowser. Everything gets implemented in Nostr and clients compete to have the most complete feature set.
