In health, there are some thing objectively “better” but most are trade offs.

If you lift in the morning on a fasted stomach you will burn more fat. However your glycogen stores are likely depleted and you will not be as strong as lifted towards the end of the day when your muscles are fueled.

Are you looking to burn calories or get stronger? It’s not quite so black and white but you get the idea.

Most of “health” is based around a bunch of fairly similar practices that deviate dependent on your personal goals.

It’ll be much harder to make strength gains with long intermittent fasts. Not impossible. And fasting is super great. It’s just a trade off.

Over 15 years I promise you I’ve learned that everyone has the “objective” path to the elite health but really it’s just dependent on what you’re looking to achieve.

You have to find your own path. What works for one person, does not work for another

Glycogen stores only partially deplete overnight. Thinking that you burn any significant amount of fat or carbohydrates while exercising is to misunderstand how the body works and how much energy is expended during exercise.

Increasing one’s basal metabolic rate by gaining muscle or being in a caloric deficit is what will lead to weight loss. Body composition changes can be attained by modifying the ratio of macronutrients you eat and the type of exercise you do.

Intermittent fasting is kind of a fad and over rated from a health pov. It helps to the extent it keeps you in a caloric deficit, but you don’t need to fast to be in a caloric deficit.

Weight loss is simple but not always easy. Just look at Ozempic. What do you know? If you eat less, you lose weight.

The fitness/health space is full of noise, but once you tune out all the BS it’s quite simple and straight forward.

You just repeated what I said but put a moderately self aggrandizing approach on it. Good for you. You know best!

Not at all, which is why I replied. Working out while fasted has a negligible effect on fat loss. Getting stronger and lossing weight is pretty black and white, people do it every day without having to research anything. Lift heavy things and eat less.

You are the type of person everyone on Nostr hates. Just insufferable. The biggest punishment I could give you is to be stuck with yourself for the rest of your life. Have fun in muteville.

Lmao you must be an orange piller
