What hardware did you go with? And would you again?

I just ended up getting a really cheap Pixel 6a just in case I didn't like it. Still using it, it does the job.
Would I again? Haha
I wouldn't want to, the switch was rough and inconvenient. But morally yeah I would do it again.
Vendor lock-in is rough, I'm sure.
Vendor lock in is crazy.
I switched back to Android when I saw the UK thing and got a pixel on discount.
Used the Fiat I saved to stack.
However, the toughest part is my notes app. I use obsidian which synced easily with iCloud. Im looking for an android alternative. Does know of a good way to sync obsidian notes with PC?
Does Obsidian just need some cloud drive type service to get sync working?. Perhaps Proton Drive could be what you're looking for.
Someone who I think uses Graphene and Obsidian from past posts is nostr:nprofile1qqsr26r4lltjnvrwadxp67ns58m4qpzaqemhf5sup7hlujhjh7t296qppamhxue69uhkumewwd68ytnrwgqsuamnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dshspq5nhe - maybe he will have a better solution.
Apparently Proton Drive is not yet supported which is a damn shame.
They also don't have an incentive to support it anytime soon since they acquired standard notes. This probably means they'll develop a notes app of their own / potentially revamp standard notes.
I use Obsidian Sync, which is a service that'll shuttle your files between your devices in a private, secure way.
Moving my household's knowledge base to markdown files was a PITA but it means we'll never become captive to another platform again.
Late to the party, but Syncthing works brilliantly with Obsidian:
I meant would you use that hardware again 😆 but good to know you would punish yourself all over again for moral reasons 🤗
