Haha same. We are low with 2.5 dozen at the moment. Of course I have another dozen that are hard boiled, but I go through those pretty fast.
A dozen eggs at my farmers market now cost between $8-10 but it’s still worth it to not get them from a factory farm, even one that pretends to be “organic.”
I agree. All the subsidies have distorted people's view of the value of eggs. I know people that were mad when factory eggs went up in price, yet they go to the gas station and overpay for junk.
The amount of nutrition in a good egg is worth the price.
And of course, Sam would properly cook them with his preacius (no pun intended) salt!
