Good morning. Once we better integrate Nostr Nests with Nostr, I suspect it's usage will drastically increase, especially once we integrate text chat and Zaps.

The last few nights we've been discussing different ways to monetize Nests so that it's able to pay for itself. Right now, it's fairly cheap to run Nests. As Nests grows in popularity, I'm suspecting this to cost several hundred dollars a month to run, if not much more.

We've discussed various solutions for this. Some of them are:

1) paying a Lightning invoice to start all Nests

2) free to start, pay after an hour

3) free for under 10 people, pay for larger Nests

What is fair? What are your thoughts? I appreciate all of your feedback.

Could do some small level of sats for anyone to enter the nest

I think a combination of this + number 1 would be good. This way the cost is spread around.

Though that gate-keeps the satless, or the low-in-Sats from participating.

Certainly have it as an option for those running a rest.
