The American psyche is a warring psyche.
America was born of a bloody revolutionary war.
We have been at war 93% of the time from 1776-2023.
If we have no one external to war with we will war with each other internally.
To be an American is to live the majority of your life surrounded by the fog of war.
We have more firearms than people.
Our national anthem is full of war imagery.
It’s all war all the time.
And every year we have a mock war drill where we explode colorful bombs over our major cities. Conditioning and attuning our civilian populations to the noises of war.
It’s one of our favorite days of the year.
