I am always surprised why very few people in the us have a "no outdoor shoes" policy π
The Rhizal Kuyu slipper is the ultimate indoor room shoe. Anyone with a strict 'no outdoor shoes' policy will enjoy them.
1. All natural materials. Doesn't collect sweat and build up a stink over time.
2. Copper grounding plug.
3. Works great barefoot or with big chunky winter socks.
4. Looks refined, killing the slob within, even around the house.
My favorite 'around the house' slips.

I grew up that way but my wife, being from Japan, has since enlightened me.
Can go back now.
I understand that, I also grew up with this policy and take my shoes off almost immediately. It feels right π
Inside stays nicer for everyone.
I think the big reasons much of Americans in the countryside still wear their outdoor shoes inside is (A) dog culture, (B) hard to convince your elders of previous generations, and (C) haven't really considered any other reality.
My wife is Taiwanese and taking shoes off is customary there. Then they have indoor slippers which must be taken off and swapped for bathroom slippers when you go into the bathroom. π
Here in Florida we take off our outdoor shoes but donβt do the bathroom slippers.
thats next level π
Mainly because policies are those things you have to write down and follow verbatim at work π
At home, I mostly wear slippers around the house, but am not strict about it.
