I think there is too much bitcoin slop even for some Bitcoiners bitcointwitterers. They prefer the variety of twitter. Understandable really tbh.

yes, i'm actively working on the software that'll allow me to connect with like-minded individuals i share values, goals and projects with and i think nostr is the tech to build it. that keeps me going.
as a public square social network it's probably even worse than what Big Tech offers and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I always believed the real value of the protocol will be brought to people through a use case enabled ONLY by the protocol. A novel value we havent seen yet and improves peoples lives by a lot

You would also have to mute a bunch of slogans and other references and you can't really mute images containing the slop. And if you somehow managed to do all this, I don't think you'd be left with much. It would be interesting to see tho.
