Not gonna lie, I randomly had rice in my bag, I hope it wasn't bad for them? I also fed them bread crumbs from some Chinese baked goods that I had. There are people who feed ducks and geese bread here regularly. I do not know anything about birds digestive system besides that the eat rocks to crush food in their gizzards, or do they?

I think all birds have gizzards, chicken gizzards just happen to be particularly delicious depending on the preparation

I did do a search if rice was bad for birds, uncooked rice is ok for them to eat 😅

The Chinese preparation of chicken gizzards is amazing, five spice braised with a chilli oil after braising, I think the biggest issue people have is the texture and the thought that it's an organ. Some say chewy but I say tender
