Brooooooo yessssss specially before this event
π― I once lost like 6 months of growth after one screwed it up and I had to trim it way down to fix it. Never again π
Godspeed
Truth. I'm on a quest for a barber that does beards well and when I find them I will never let them go.

Best of luck π€π»

good luck
I don't have a beard but I get the same feeling of going to new hairdresser. they always take off too much π
In 2.5 years my beard's been trimmed once.
I took 3 inches off the bottom about 2 months ago.
It had hit terminal length & the whispiness was starting to annoy me.
No regrats - I'd rather the sats.
Mine gets very bin ladenesque π€
Yeah same.
I've learnt to not give a fuck.
I prefer the flat bottom & the thickness that comes with that.
Beards are a pretty unique & personal thing. π€·
My terminal length is about half an inch. It just gets more woolly after that.
Terminal length is determined by how quickly your beard grows & how long the hairs naturally stay attached to your face. As your longest & oldest hairs fall out the beard length reaches an equilibrium where it appears to not get longer. Few hairs manage to get to that length & so you get a tapered point to your beard where it gets thinner down the bottom.
The wooliness can be tamed with a brush, hairdryer & some beard wax. This will straighten out the hairs & bring them into line.
This 'styling' takes about 5 mins when you get out of the shower. Finding a decent beard wax is the hardest part.
Not too bad, the barber didn't take much off.
And yes, of course he got orange pilled.

For real!!! I finally found a barber that I trust, but I have had my beard fucked up in the past, and I am real hesitant about anyone new. I do a few haircuts first, then Iβll let them trim my beard if I keep going back to them. #Beardstr
