Not one of my friends and family is interested in #Bitcoin

I doubt they even know it’s currently at $70,000

Normies are gonna have such a hard time

Same here

Same here. Just a motivation to stack harder myself for me and my family 🫡

Same. They just think I'm crazy. Especially because I never realise any gains.

Talked so much about it to them but I stopped as they weren’t interested

Nowadays they don’t even ask anything

But in a few years we’ll get all called lucky

My dad gets that I'm on to something, because he's seen me make seemingly crazy moves during the 2008 crisis, dumping cash for assets, and he's heard me talk about Bitcoin since it was <$5 in 2011, which was part of that strategy.

He gets inflation too, because he often talks about how most things cost 50x more than when he was young. He's just into bricks and mortar because he understands that.

Wow that’s insane you’re already that long into BTC and you started to understand money a long time before

Cheers to you legend

Unfortunately I didn't understand Bitcoin well enough early enough.

I went through the typical route, trading, shitcoining, cashing it all in to pay for things that were important at the time, and missed almost all the big moves upwards.

I also got shaken out by MtGox, the first Halving, the Blocksize Wars. So I have big respect for those that have hodled since the early days.

Agreed! At least you found your way back and did the work eventually

We all have our journey

So true. There are so many great "How did you get into #Bitcoin?" stories.

I guess after some time, they just classify anything you say as, "yeah, he is bitcoiner, bla bla bla."

But at the end, I think this correlates with

* how mucg early adaptor/visionary you are and

* how much privilige you have

Stack for your immediate family and don’t talk about it to friends. Trust me on this one, it’s for best. I lost some good friends over the orange coin and made some family members jealous

Btw they’ll never buy and blame you if there is a crash

I can imagine this too.

I've had friends ask for investment/trading/gambling advice in the past, and they end up selling the dip on volatile stuff.

I also have a good friend that did that when he bought BCH instead of BTC. 🤦

And then you get all the blame lol

Very good point bro…

Just my two sats bro. This happened to me last cycle. I don’t give any advice at all now lol

Yeah you’re right!

Only my parents eventually bought but I’m actually scared they will lose their keys at one point 😂

To avoid that, I hodl their corn with my corn. That way, I force them to hodl as well 😂

Again good thing to do. But hey self sovereignty, right 😂

Pops don’t care about that hahaha

Oh no, they know. Surprisingly some nocoiners follow the price closer than some bitcoiners 🤭

It is a scam
