If you have 240v power (at a decent rate), I think the Antminer S19j Pro is probably the best miner you can run right now overall. Yes this beats out the S19 XP on my books. Haven’t experimented enough with the S19j Pro+, but that’s my thoughts. I like Whatsminers, but they’re a different ballgame in my opinion.

What makes you say Whatsminers are in a different ballgame? I have minimum knowledge on mining but recently been looking at the different options
They’re more expensive up front, but that definitely is valid with how tough they are. But also their power draw is always going to be a bit higher per TH. If Whatsminers and Antminers were the same price by $/TH, I’d get a Whatsminer all day though. But they’re just overall a bit more expensive, but last a lot longer.
That's good info 🙏 iv been looking at the M30S++ & the S19J Pro, both 100TH/s both similar in price on the site iv been looking at. Assumed Bitmain was the way but now you've got me thinking
M30S++ was my favorite for a while, and power consumption is not tooooo entirely different (about 400-500W more depending on the j Pro you’re looking at) but if you can find a cheap enough up front price for an M30S++ and that extra power isn’t too much for you, I’d take that offer.
I like antminer s19j pro. My electricity rate is quite high though. In colder months It’s better profitability as it can heat my house and I don’t need to use propane.
Curious because XP generates 140 Th/s consuming 3010 w.
More efficient than s19j pro.
In what ways have you found it to be better?
The XP board design changed where there’s more likelihood of an error, and also if there is an error, it doesn’t only hash on the available boards. It just completely stops hashing. The PCB temp sensors are also triggered about 10°C cooler than on the j Pro. If they work perfectly at 100% uptime, golden machines. The problem is that they rarely are able to 🙃
