Hopefully it's a quick/easy fix. If not, selling parts might yeild high returns.

It's not.

Throttle response cuts out at low speeds.

Dash lights come on.

Disconnect the 12v battery, plug it back in, car doesn't do it again for a few min.

Fuses are all good.

Autozone reading said inverter issue.

I'd have to assume there's a short somewhere.

I don't have the $5000 to have the inverter fully replaced and cant pay hourly to have the short found and fixed.

You can lessen where to look for a short. Disconnect negative terminal of battery and then use a test light connected between the terminal and cable, if the light comes on you have a short. Start pulling fuses, one at a time and when the test light goes out, you found which circuit has the short.
