They’ll remember that you offered
Send it to me 🙏
It’s immutably documented and time stamped here now for your reminding them later.
I gave a coworker a Bitcoin in 2010, but he didn't want it because he thought his name was attached to it like a bank account. It is still sitting there.
Does he still have the private key?
I’ve had similar experiences gifting some to relatives. I always kept a backup for them but they still never bothered to claim it.
The halving is coming. Now is the best time to be greedy with your sats. They're adults. They chose not to accept them. Let them take responsibility for that decision. Keep stackin'!
Work to do yes, but you made an impact regardless of the desired outcome.
Either way, well done for at least trying!
I can’t give it away to my friends either and many of them work in tech. I can’t get through to them with my approaches. Need to pivot.
Everyone gets into Bitcoin when they deserve to.
Imo, let them learn the hard way. The ignorant deserve to suffer the consequences of their own actions.
People generally are pacified if they are fed enough slop to survive, not much can be done about that. Progressivism is the violent theory that the spoils of technological progress can be stolen from the plebs so long as they stay fed.
The free Bitcoin route is weird for some because some people will see less value in it if just given.
What I have done is offer to pay back part of a dinner or drinks with a friend with it. It’s attached to something tangible (a couple of beers).
As others have said, some people aren’t ready and will get in at the premium they decide for themselves (aka deserve).
Go make that offer in the East & see how it differs.
I would take one ☝🏼
