I cant get amethyst to load anything other than my own content. I've tried clearing cache, deleting reinstalling, defaulting relays, deleting citrine and pokey. I don't know what's up. It's useless at the moment- unless I just want to look at my own posts.

Get the latest update, side load if possible. That's fixed the issue for me in the past.
It could be the amount of follows. Most relays block anything over 1000 follows. Other relays will block any query over 2000 follows. My suggestion is to break your follows into many lists, maybe using listr.lol. it's annoying but there is no way around at the moment :(

So when he opens his Amethyst it sends a request to the relay and if those 2000 followers have posted something it will try to pulls the 2000 notes? So it crashes Amethyst? so some relays block that many requests? I'd be spending all day reading notes if I followed that many.
I wish we had follow lists on Amethyst so we can add favorites, family members, etc
I remember fb has a limit of 5000 you can be firends with.
I don't know the solution but I wont follow that many until it's fixed.
Relays block. We try to separate the filter by the outbox relay each person uses, but since most people have 20 somethings relays in their list, it ends up bottlenecking in the most popular relays. And almost all relays don't respond anything with over 1000 follows. So, he might just have reached the limit that no relay in his list is responding with anything.
I can see other posts, but I often see people replying to posts I can't see. Then I click the post and I can see it. 🤨
This started after I reduced my relay exposure to deal with spam.
The wrok around is to go to global. Let it load. And then go to all follows.
