No, if someone really wanted to it'd be easy to Doxx me. It's more like: when I was on twitter I was screaming into the void and occaisionally have a p2p interaction but now I have the sense (perhaps naively) that I have something approaching a legitimate community here.

Re: Doxx, I made the decision to be an educator in the bitcoin space in real life ,and it's hard to give talks to rich boomers with a balaclava on, so I just have to keep my shit locked down and excercise my constitutional carry rights (lol but seriously) and I keep my home very tight.

Just curious if you mean you run like a formal education thing or something else. Cool either way

It's not formal, it's more like an ancillary feature of my legal practice that I am trying to build into a formal part of my legal practice. Lawyers will often go out and do talks in their subject area that aren't formal paid for legal services in order to self promote. So like, we have a lot of bankruptcy lawyers here who will go out and give talks about credit risk or bankruptcy alternative strategies, etc.

That’s awesome!

So far so good. Im building levels to it. Basic level I don't even say bitcoin for the first 45 minutes and might not say bitcoin at all. It's more like, here's how money printing works, why do you feel like its impossible to save money and why has "saving" become synonymous with risk-native investing?

Oh yea. Absolutely. It's incredible.

Best part is that there's no reason that should change with scale. As long as one continues to ignore global feeds and opt out of any forthcoming algorithmic relays or clients that they're not interested in, their experience of nostr - and their experience with their social graph, the actual humans - would stay exactly the same even if nostr had 100 million users.

That's the power of true dark forest tech: the right for you and your little tribe to be left alone by the wider population.

Reminds me of the golden days of the internet circa 92-96. MIRC and ICQ and tightly controlled bulletin boards. Really great shit. I have learned so much and helped ( I think) so many people through NOSTR this year. Really something. I need to find a way to effectively leverage these networks into my meatspace without fucking it up.

I've got some ideas for community relays that would make Nostr appropriate and useful for meatspace networks... I'll update here as those projects develop.

Nostr relay over radio meshnetwork for my local friends and family would be so..so fucking cool.
