I was looking at dashcams, but, gosh, they pretty much all suck.
This is the one the lady used that got hit.

Yea I am sure there are better value dash cams out there. I'll do some research. That definitely saved her a lot of money it paid for itself in that situation for her.

If I wasn't so fiat poor, I'd buy the Viofo A229 Pro right now. There's a $90 coupon on the three channel model on Amazon right now and that is a very good deal.
Maybe can find one for great price on the used market like ebay.

Have a friend who works in car insurance, the number of scams and idiots are almost unbelievable.

What’s the point of this scam?
Any good dash cams that are recommended? I don’t like the idea of a camera recording everything in the car but for situations like this they seem useful.
