I can’t help be reminded of The Fourth (Crisis) Turning framework from this post.

Faith in government? Gone.

Trust in media and institutions? Near zero.

Economic stability? Cracking.

Global order? Rewiring fast.

Cultural unity? Nonexistent.

In Fourth Turning language, the U.S. (and arguably the West more broadly) is a tired empire hitting the final boss level…

Markets fear it. Gold and Bitcoin smell it. $7T in debt rolls over by June. The printer is coming.

You can’t stop the storm. But you can position for the next system.

Real assets. Digital sovereignty.

Protect your wealth.

Interesting take!

A little dark and dramatic but I enjoyed writing it 😂

XD well, I started to write more but wasn't sure how to word it, but might as well try. I'm not a doomer by any means, and am in the camp that "all this stuff has happened before, the world is not falling apart, the world is actually in the best state it's ever been in, humans and society always moves on". But this time does seem a bit different. Granted, I'm just 30, so I don't have a lot of direct experience here. I still think we'll be fine, it's just human history repeating itself in different forms. Though maybe what's actually happening is the ending of the world _as we know it_. Not that the world is ending (it's not). But the world we've known for the past few generations is ending and a new, better world will emerge. Who knows

Nice

Well I think your core message or feeling is the same…

Not doom, yet not optimism porn…just recognition of the turbulence and something new trying to start

Reading that book is 80% of the work

Check my post about a solution.

I need to make some time to look at this...
