The US Government won, but not on their terms.

If they would have tried Assange, the case would've gotten tremendous global coverage, & the courts could have ruled in Julian's favor.

They knew they could hold him in limbo for as long as they wanted, essentially incarcerating Julian without a trial.

This sends a clear message to anyone else who dare attempt what Julian did, that this is the best of possible outcomes which required global support.

If Ross is pardoned, tell your pops we're fighting governments & actually have wins to show for it.
