For a few weeks now I’ve been trying a different approach to zapping—quality over quantity, sending higher amounts per #zap while being more selective about which content I #zap. I’ve also had likes turned off since Damus added the option to do so. I have come to like this approach and will continue with it. I have completely lost the desire to click “like” whereas before it was a knee jerk reaction to nearly everything I read. Instead, now if a note is interesting, I engage with a comment or repost. If content moves or impresses me, I send a zap that I think I would appreciate if I had posted it. Anything else, I just read and keep scrolling. This feels more natural to me. 💜🤙

Cool. Is there a delete post option? I look back over the absolute piffle I have typed, and I long for a delete post option.

Some apps have a “request delete” feature but it depends on which relays the note is on and if those relays support deletion. Can’t hurt to try but not always reliable.
