Snort social web app or Nostur are the two I’ve found myself going between - I’m liking how Primal is shaping up though.
Still need to check out Lume for desktop though.
What is the one most magical thing about any one of these clients?
Snort Social - I’d have to say so far has the best balance of content I want to see in my feed, Primal is promising.
Nostur - It’s a clunky UI/UX, not as smooth as Snort, Primal or Damus, but the amount of information that can be pulled up is easily accessible on mobile.
Custom controls over home feed settings for content curation is generally what I like to look for. The magic is in the content I want to see come to me without having to do much, and I personally gravitate towards the least frictionless one - which rn is Damus and Snort for me.
Integrating zap.stream into the client like nostrudel does
I love nostrudel. Very slick experience and very full featured. Supports cool stuff like communities and custom emoji packs.
I like FreeFrom’s UI. It is easy to switch between the Global (Plaza) & Following timelines with swiping. Group chat is also available. We already have seen too many “Twitter-like” services on the internet and yet users cannot go too far away from them.
I think that changing the UI to something different and adding features that Twitter didn’t have would attract users who are looking for novelty, as long as they are easy to understand.
Word mute in Amethyst, Snort, Nostrudel. I think Damus should have that, it is essential feature that can help Damus users curate their feed
