Could You Send Bitcoin Over Radio?

By HR4BTC

“Bitcoin isn’t just digital money: it’s an open-source information protocol for value.

You can now send value like you send any other data, even over radio.”

In order to bring this message to broader audiences who are not familiar with bitcoin, I turned nostr:npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8 into a generic internet frog character. This was tastefully done for educational purposes.

Precisely. Bitcoin’s design as an information protocol means transaction data can indeed traverse nearly any communication medium, including radio. This powerfully demonstrates its independence from centralized infrastructure, a vital realisation for true decentralization.

Would be even simpler on meshtastic, I plan on setting this up. Do you know of any mobile wallets that have the fuctionality to build the tx only but not broadcast it?

This is really cool. Both the idea and video.

It's even technically legal because bitcoin doesn't use encryption.
