I never see Bitcoiners criticizing any authoritarian regimes from the Islamic world.

Maybe there's just too much there & too far gone for freedom minded individuals to focus on.

Any other ideas why this phenomena exists?

What context ? The Islam part or the authoritarian part of the country (Bashar Al Saad chemical weapons and manufacturing amphetamine)

I dont have a problem with the Islam part as its a religion in which people choose to opt into

I think it’s a divisive issue for one reason and that’s:

One man’s freedom fighter is another man’s terrorist

I think many Bitcoiners recognise this and choose not to focus on it. The Islamic world have been the pisspot of the American war machine but ofc there are radicals there

Bitcoin is halal and Muslims should embrace it and perhaps theres some Bitcoiners who think these countries get what they deserve.

I also think Bitcoiners tend to prefer to focus on their own country, like any citizen should 🫡

I'm referencing countries btw, even though their religion is another mind-virus unto itself & part of their governments.

Do you think the Islamic World will become more Democratic/Republic or increase their reach of total control & no elections over the next 10-20 years?

I don’t agree their religion is a mind virus more than any other but that’s more a conversation about religion

I don’t believe in democracy to be solution to anything really as I think it leads to oligarchy (as evidenced in the USA). I think minarchy is the way.

Bitcoin will bring us into a world in which people have 30 years of savings instead of 30 years of debt. The best bastion against the state. One figure with minimal power will act as a watch man as individuals maximise freedom under the price mechanism binding society

Orthodox religion is the most dangerous weapon on Earth.

Islam has the highest percentage & largest number of people practicing the religion out of all religions.

There is no way to cut it lightly unfortunately.

I understand the utopic, but tbf western democratic Republics are the best places to live as of today ; regardless of shortcomings.

I see you believe in 30years that Islamic authoritarian regimes will be toppled then?

I think you missed my 30 years point or maybe not. I don’t mean people will have saved for 30 years but they’d have 30 years of personal savings whereas now most people have 30 years of personal debt ? Idk if I’m being clear

I don’t think western democratic republics exist anymore and they’re all slowly devolving due to inflation and oligarchy.

Minarchy isn’t a utopia as it’s in full swing in El Salvador.

As to the COVID point, people living in the country were unaffected - no one came to your land to tell you how to live.

I think cities are all dystopic, 100% of em.

That’s not really true either. Big pharma, the EU and the WHO told me how to live. And people worship these institutions like a religion. Hence Covid

There’s a cathedral of the The Science that allowed COVID to happen and it’s lockdowns and it opens up the door to so much more in the future now

I will say that I’m from Ireland and we had the longest lockdowns in Europe and the highest vax rates so it was rather apparent here

All I’ll say is they are what they are and we may have much worse to come. They might be Disneyland compared to us if things continue. I guess that’s apart of my point too.

Well this is the thing about religion. People who believe in Islam will be free to enter states that uphold sharia law as they due wish. Idk if this’ll be genuinely sustainable given what sharia law entails but nonethelss

Yes El Salvador is called that but that doesn’t make it true. The democratic republic of Congo is by no means a functioning democratic republic
