After my dad went into a full-care facility (ALZ), my mom moved into a new, much smaller, house. It was part of a new cul-de-sac just being built, so we had blueprints. I made a copy and am using strips as texture for the door frame.

The more I focus on this art being a gift for my mom, the more parts I’m finding that incorporate into the whole; much more than my first attempt.

And, still very much a work in progress. 😁

This is a series of notes for my art project of using a reference photo of Mom’s flowers as the basis for a mixed media artwork that will be used to create a wooden jigsaw puzzle with garden whimsy pieces as a gift for my mother. 💐🧩
