windows os. processing speed fast. She’s unsure of specific req so we’re trying to get a good one now that will last 3+ yrs.

She prefers that since it’s most common in biz and her university program recommends it.

Gotcha. Highly recommend she learn linux as well. Its widely used across most industries but largely behind the scenes. Linux proficiency is a good way to set yourself apart from a technical sense.

And its better, imho. Free and opem source. Not running the Bill Gates malware.

Linux is huge in a lot of the global companies! for the program they start on windows OS and how to apply to iOS. Not so much the open source first format.

If you have an idea of what applications need to be run at school, you can get an idea of how powerful the machine should be.

In prior years intel had better chips than amd. Not sure the relationship now.
