I love making these.
The blue hetch + pueblo Sapphire/Emerald seemed like a crazy idea but it turned out exceptional. I always say this, with leather, there's almost never à bad fit. The craziest combinations will look good.
The blue hatch is very cool. Different than the black one. It's smoother. Fun to touch.

I had carefully selected the leather colors and thread with a specific vision in mind. I had to buy a very large cordovan hide to make the original so I didn't make much profit at all on it. Id like to make a little something and id lole you to have yours.

I used to be the same way. But 10 or so years ago, I got a combo phone holder wallet thing because I couldn’t stop losing my wallet. And now that my car key is an app on my phone, life is finally good :)
I can’t do the combo phone wallet, and my car is 20 years old so it uses a physical key. I don’t replace that very often either!
I went from a 2008 Kia Sedona to a cybertruck…there will be signs as they say. But having gotten burned in 2017 on my wife’s minivan (which cost me 7 bitcoin, ouch!) I shorted the dollar to get the truck…so far the gamble has paid off.

Back in the day, there were few people who truly understood bitcoin and what it really was. But such foolishness brings more people in to the fold which is good for bitcoin.
I still have a busted Lenovo laptop I paid way too much in bitcoin for many years ago that I bought for one of my kids. The screen is mostly dead and the battery is shot. I installed Ubuntu on it and connected it to a display so I could avoid chucking it in an electronics recycling bin. I can’t bring myself to get rid of it knowing how much that bitcoin would be worth now.
I kept my 2009 MacBook Pro that I solo mined bitcoin blocks with way back in July 2010. It still works!

These were total crap though…never lasted more than a year.
Me and a future leathermint have been slowly working towards something similar.
I don't want to promise you anything, but we've been talking, and he may have bought a leatherwork kit to learn to make exactly that.
For me, key features are 1) phone can “stick” magnetically to the wallet (mine uses a thin mostly plastic shell that goes around the phone), 2) there is a standard wallet pouch thing for unfolded bills, and the lowermost card slot has a transparent plastic window
I like the Bible binding. I’m making this for me first but definitely cool to see some demand there.
Mine will be with some metal on the inside, so it doesn’t fry your balls. The problem is, that this will likely mean you will get low / no reception when the case is closed, which is actually ideal for how I use my phone. You will be able to u clip to open the camera, and voice / speaker / audio jack & charging section.
The idea to have some magnetism, for whatever wallet part on the back is cool, but my concern would be that the magnetism may have some effect on the phone itself. Need to investigate further.
Have some gig work atm, wrapping it up this week and then traveling for a month, so I will be doing this, it will be in my own time which may vary brother.

Probably less than 10 years but more than 5.
I paid 450k 💀 (50k was the RFID shield and shipping). I expect this to be the last wallet I'll ever have to buy though.
