Legacy payments are hell.

Zaps ⚡️ are HELLO! 💜
"Give us your exact time of birth, your mother's maiden name, a strand of hair of your firstborn, a stool sample and some DNA."
“…see stool sample for DNA please…I lost my kit”
"lol, you think you're done? Give us a phone number for 2FA (in addition to this other 2FA code). You have 15 seconds to enter it. You also have to solve a Rubik's Cube on the side."
"Code expired. Also, the page doesn't load so you need to refresh and do everything again."
"You finally managed! Nice! Unfortunately the ebanking site is down for maintenance. How long? We don't know, lmao"
And then you get a “oh you did all those things? Ok, but we don’t like the payment that you want to make so… No anyways”
sounds like Visa application somewhere.
I fully share the frustration 🥹
And when the payment is done and it’s above €100,-:
“Why did you make this payment. For who was it? What’s your relation to this person? This is an unusual transaction that doesn’t fit the pattern so we need all the information possible, otherwise you temporarily won’t have access to your funds anymore”
We need to know your pet’s name!!!!

It’s true, had to wire $10k+ to florida. Took 3 days and a $30 fee. I could have drove it there in 1 day 😂
I was working with them for 5 years. I cannot believe that this is the layers that actually exist and transfer value.
You don’t have to ask anyone for permission to participate in Bitcoin. There is no page to sign up, no company in charge, no government agency to send application forms to. Simply generate a large number and you are pretty much good to go. The central authority of account creation is mathematics. And God only knows who is in charge of that.

just like legacy social media!
Legacy bitcoin payments or legacy legacy payments? Lol
“Type your 12-digit account number here. No copy/paste allowed, just type it with typo if needed, we’ll charge you a fee if it’s wrong”
Hell on earth. In 21st century it takes days to transfer money from one bank to another international. Plus heavy fees. Who would be using it?
I wire payments to factories in China for product and it cost $45 per wire and 48 hours to clear.. I recently had a wire rejected because I was only able to input 8 of the 12 words of the factory name in the Bank of America name field. Think about that? The routing number was tied to a factory name that I provided 8 of the 12 words to and it got rejected as incomplete. I was charged by my bank to issue an addendum to add the 4 missing words which also ultimately failed. I then had to rewire the money for an additional $45. It took 12days from start to finish. Total joke.
Tell me about it. Been waiting on 5k euros from Spain since Friday 🤦♂️
The fact that they can charge 30% credit card interest rates made them EVIL af
Bitcoin fixes this.
Ive been trying to pay an overseas contractor and it's taken over a month and still not arrived in their account even after doing all the required KYC/AML BS.
Unfortunately they live in Pakistan where BTC is illegal.
Yes. I am using PayPal for my Business paying people all over the world. Since 2 month i am not able to pay directly in the foreign currencies (i used my credit card for currency exchange because it’s the lowest fees). Now PayPal is making the currency conversion and taking ~5,5% from me (credit card is like 1,5%) already called them several times and I got some money back. But the „problem“ is still not fixed..
