I hope someday reposts and zaps completely replace the need for “likes”/🤙🏼.

Reposts and zaps are true value exchange…and have a real cost: your reputation or money.

Likes are superficial and exist only to inform an algorithm.

Relevance algorithms have their place, but they are best informed by a truly costly action.

I actually semi disagree with this.

Don't clutter your own post feed and are typically separate

It's normal in a social setting to be able to give a nod of approval with out being a full speaker or advocate.

Platforms without likes/reviews are typically less used. It helps in forming consensus in a casual way.
