*Default* out-of-the-box experience was really no more private than Bluewallet or Green or any other client-server-based phone wallet. The difference is that none of these wallets enticed you into use with edgy "privacy wallet" marketing.
If it turns out that the broad majority of Scamoura's users (who common sense tells us stayed in the default default experience) get doxxed, unintentionally or intentionally), this means **Scamourai was a net negative for Bitcoin and we should have never tolerated them or their paid-for bolstering by podcasters and influencers**
Correct, which all the sane players not getting paid by the influencer cartel exposed over & over again.
Can't help the herd when they're all using confirmation bias & not critical thinking.
Now with Nostr, we have primal - who forces you to give up your identity which they use a database to confirm/approve your identity as real or not.
Who's that being championed by?
NVK, Odell, etc.. the cartel herding their cattle.
If Samurai users get doxxed as a result of lax user advocacy and poor architectural decisions, @odell needs to take his lumps for his cheerleading and fundraising and lying-by-omision just like Peter McCormack and others were chastised by him for their poor decisions. People have been raising these issues for years. To him. With no appreciable messaging adjustment.

Odell & NVK tried to corner me in Miami, I laughed in their faces. Was great.
"Why don't you use sparrow?"
Many people have asked me this and I always replied the same way.
I don't use tools associated with shady business models.
